ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Atika didn't exactly set out to become a jeweler.

Before Àset, she worked as a psychotherapist for 10 years - fascinated by people, identity, and the quiet but profound ways in which how we feel about ourselves shapes how we move through the world.

But creativity and design had always been part of her inheritance.

Her naani came from a family of jewelers, while her naanu came from a family of poets. Both her parents worked in clothing and fashion.

Perhaps Àset was always waiting somewhere at the intersection of it all!

Today, Atika brings those worlds together to create jewelry that is as much about feeling as it is about looking beautiful - pieces rooted in heritage yet designed for the modern Indian woman.
